What is need for B.Ed

There is a certificate of Licentiate in Teaching in some states, which is also considered equivalent to the B.Ed. The B.Ed. is an undergraduate program offered to those willing to consider teaching as a career. The B.Ed. Qualification is mandatory for teaching in secondary and higher secondary education.



So how do you get entry in B.Ed ?





The minimum credentials needed to enter B.Ed is class 12 passed. While the Arts stream students are qualified to teach topics such as Literature, Social Studies, and other Languages, the Science stream students are trained to teach science subjects.
The course will last four years as per NCTE Rules, 2019, from session 2020-21. The NCTE is the statutory body that regulates teacher-training courses in India.
